Gonzalo’s private equity career spans 25 years at several mid-market buyout firms in Spain. Having worked at Excel Partners, Mercapital, Impala Capital Partners and Alantra PE, he has acquired a multifaceted view of his profession and has developed a standard of best practices. He has completed transactions with a total value over €1 billion in multiple sectors, including food packaging (Mivisa) and technology (Salto). Gonzalo joined Alantra PE in January 2010 and was appointed CEO in December 2013. He is member of ASCRI’s Executive Committee.
Gonzalo has a Business Administration degree from Boston University and holds an MBA from IMD.
