Mels Huige is Partner within Active Capital Company and joined in 2013. He has extensive experience in guiding merger & acquisitions projects, structuring acquisitions and valuing companies.

Mels is responsible for acquiring new portfolio companies within Active Capital Company, add-ons and exits. Besides that, Mels focusses on investor relations.

Previously he worked as Director at Boer & Croon Corporate Finance. Within Boer & Croon Corporate Finance Mels focussed on merger and acquisition processes within the Transport & Logistics and Industry & Trade sectors.

Mels holds a Master´s degree in business economics from Maastricht University and a postgraduate degree in Business Valuation from the Rotterdam School of Management.
