Mikael is a Director at Hg, based in Stockholm, covering the Nordic region for new investments for the Hg funds and assisting Hg’s portfolio companies in the region.
Prior to joining Hg in 2020, Mikael was Head of M&A, and member of Group Executive Management at Visma Group. At Visma for 10 years Mikael completed approximately 150 acquisitions.

Prior to Visma Mikael spent 10 years in investment banking working mainly with M&A in the Nordic region (Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Lehman). Mikael started his working career as a management consultant for three years with the Boston Consulting Group in Sweden.
