UK-based private equity firm Livingbridge has agreed to sell The Up Group, a European digital search, advisory and networking firm, for an undisclosed sum.

The firm will be acquired by Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS), backed by Omers, the private equity arm of one of Canada’s largest defined benefit pension plans.

In a statement, AMS said it will support The Up Group in delivering “enhanced talent solutions to its clients, scaling its international operations and expanding its team, whilst retaining Up’s strong brand and autonomy to deliver market-leading digital executive search”.

Livingbridge invested in The Up Group in 2016, from its Enterprise 2 Fund, since which Up’s revenues have grown by over 50% and its headcount has doubled.

Up’s client base includes firms such as Farfetch, Booking, Airbnb, Trainline, Onfido, Nike, Kingfisher and HomeServe.
