Private equity firm Greenstone acquired the remaining 20 percent stake in the Format office building from developer Torus, becoming the sole owner of the asset.

The deal follows Greenstone’s initial acquisition of an 80 percent stake in May 2024.

Located at the intersection of ul. Droszyńskiego and ul. Bora-Komorowskiego in Gdańsk, Format offers nearly 16,000 sqm of fully leased modern office space. The transaction was once again supported by real estate advisory firm Cushman & Wakefield, which also manages the property.

This latest acquisition reflects Greenstone’s continued strategy of expanding its footprint in high-quality office assets across Poland’s key regional markets. Full ownership of Format strengthens the firm’s presence in the Gdańsk business district and underscores its confidence in the long-term potential of the Polish commercial real estate sector.
