Inflexion has agreed to sell its investment in European LifeCare Group (ELCG), Europe’s largest provider of vaccinations, to a European private equity firm. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval.

Headquartered in Denmark, ELCG operates 84 clinics across Denmark, the UK, the Netherlands, and Sweden. The company provides travel and general health vaccinations, mass immunisation programmes, and supports vaccine clinical trials in partnership with global pharmaceutical leaders such as Sanofi and Pfizer. It has been a long-standing delivery partner for public vaccination programmes run by the Danish and UK NHS.

With Inflexion’s support, ELCG evolved from a travel vaccination provider into a pan-European preventive healthcare platform. The private equity firm backed the company through founder succession, reinforced the leadership team, and enhanced its digital marketing strategy.

During Inflexion’s ownership, ELCG completed four acquisitions, entered the Benelux and Swedish markets, and achieved rapid growth. Annual revenue nearly tripled, the number of clinics rose by 65%, and the workforce grew sixfold. The company now delivers more than 3m vaccinations each year, a fourteenfold increase since Inflexion’s investment.
