Actis acquires 90% of 800 Super as Southeast Asia deployment reaches $1.7bn

Actis has completed the acquisition of a 90% stake in Singapore-based environmental management company 800 Super.

The investment was made through Actis’ Long Life Infrastructure Fund 2 and brings the fund to approximately 70% deployed, while increasing the firm’s total capital deployment in Southeast Asia to $1.7bn.

800 Super operates across waste management, recycling, and public cleaning services, with a majority of revenues derived from long-term government contracts, offering a stable and defensive infrastructure profile.

The company is one of three licensed municipal waste and cleaning service providers in Singapore and plays a key role in the country’s circular economy strategy.

“We view the acquisition of 800 Super as an exciting contribution to our portfolio of leading sustainable infrastructure companies,” said Adrian Mucalov, Head of Long Life Infrastructure at Actis.

The transaction reflects Actis’ focus on critical infrastructure assets with predictable cash flows and strong growth potential, particularly in high-demand regions such as Southeast Asia.

Actis has deployed capital across energy, digital infrastructure, and real estate in the region, as it targets long-term growth opportunities driven by urbanisation and sustainability trends.

The partnership with founder and CEO William Lee is expected to support operational optimisation and further expansion of the business.
