Apax Partners LLP is to acquire a controlling stake in Veriforce, a global provider of supply chain risk management solutions (SCRM), from the software-focused private investment firm Thoma Bravo. Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Veriforce, headquartered in the United States, is one of the largest providers of integrated SCRM solutions, with operations spanning the US, Canada, and the UK. The company’s offerings focus on verifying contractor services to ensure safety and compliance across supply chains in multiple industries.
Sine being acquired by Thoma Bravo five years ago, Veriforce has seen rapid growth, expanding its contractor network across various sectors and countries. The company now operates in over 140 countries, supporting more than five million workers daily. Since 2018, Veriforce has grown from 115 clients and 9,500 contractors to over 1,300 clients and 90,000 contractors, with its workforce tripling to more than 530 employees.
Apax Partners has a track record of investments in the SCRM sector through companies including Alcumus and EcoOnline.
Harris Williams advised Apex on the deal, while William Blair acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Veriforce.
