B Capital Group, which backs early- and growth-stage companies focused on digitizing traditional industries, has sold a slice of its holdings in five businesses for about $200m, according to people familiar with the matter.
The firm backed the five companies involved in the transaction, commonly referred to as a strip sale, through its debut growth fund, the people said. After receiving a first commitment for its B Capital Fund LP in May 2016, the firm secured a total of about $360m for the vehicle.
