Bow River Capital targets global growth with acquisition of CloudShare

US-based private equity firm Bow River Capital has acquired CloudShare, an Israeli virtual lab software provider serving clients such as Salesforce, Atlassian, and Palo Alto Networks.

The transaction, while undisclosed, is estimated by sources to be valued between $60m and $80m.

CloudShare, founded nearly 20 years ago by Dr Zvi Guterman, offers virtual environments for technical training, product demonstrations, cybersecurity simulations, and software testing. The company has been operating independently since 2014, when Guterman repurchased equity from early investors and transitioned to a bootstrapped model.

The acquisition aligns with Bow River Capital’s strategy of investing in high-growth technology platforms. The firm currently manages $3.6bn in assets and continues to deepen its presence in the enterprise software sector.
