Brookfield launches $100bn AI infrastructure drive with NVIDIA and KIA

The programme is anchored by the Brookfield Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure Fund, which targets $10bn of equity commitments. The fund has already secured $5bn from Brookfield, NVIDIA, KIA, and a select group of institutional partners.
Brookfield plans to invest in AI factories based on NVIDIA’s DSX reference design, as well as dedicated behind-the-meter power solutions and compute infrastructure tailored for governments and global enterprises. The firm says it is well positioned for large-scale deployment, noting that it has already invested over $100bn in digital infrastructure and clean power.
“AI is creating one of the largest infrastructure buildouts in history, comparable to the formation of the modern power grid and global telecom networks,” said Sikander Rashid, Brookfield’s Head of AI Infrastructure. He added that the buildout will require $7tn of capital in the next decade.
NVIDIA chief executive Jensen Huang said the partnership will provide “a ready-to-deploy AI cloud” and highlighted Brookfield’s launch of Radiant, an NVIDIA Cloud Partner that will build AI factories and support sovereign AI programmes.
Brookfield has also secured a $5bn framework agreement with Bloom Energy for up to 1GW of behind-the-meter power and announced AI infrastructure partnerships in France and Sweden totalling up to $30bn.
