EnduroSat has closed a €43m funding round led by Founders Fund, with participation from CEECAT Capital, Morphosis Capital, and existing investors. 

The capital will support the scaling of EnduroSat’s production of its Endurance Gen3 ESPA-class satellites – advanced, modular spacecraft designed for rapid deployment across a variety of missions, including hyperspectral imaging, SAR, broadband, and navigation.

The funding will also fuel the growth of EnduroSat’s Space Service model, offering a fully integrated, fixed-cost solution for satellite constellations. This includes design, payload integration, launch, and operations, enabling clients to focus on their core businesses.

EnduroSat plans to build a 17,500 m² state-of-the-art R&D facility in Sofia, which will include satellite avionics labs, assembly lines, expanded clean rooms, and a suite of space qualification equipment. The new site will support EnduroSat’s target of producing up to 60 satellites per month by the end of 2025. The company is also enhancing its US operations with a dedicated cleanroom to better serve commercial and defence customers globally.

The Endurance Gen3 platform, built entirely in-house, offers up to 3.5kW peak power and 2GBPS data rates, with a cableless bus design enabling faster assembly and functional testing compared to traditional satellite builds.

Raycho Raychev, CEO of EnduroSat, said the investment will “unlock access to satellite constellations for even more customers, with reliability and price transparency.”

Delian Asparouhov, Partner at Founders Fund, added: “EnduroSat’s shift from traditional aerospace supply chains to consumer electronics is a game-changer. Their Gen3 satellites position them to capture a wide range of space opportunities.”

EnduroSat has over 3,000 modules in orbit and aims to make space universally accessible by building the infrastructure to power the next generation of space applications.
