Coller Capital partners with Mediobanca to expand evergreen secondaries access in Italy

The agreement provides High-Net-Worth and Ultra-High-Net-Worth clients with access to Coller Equity Feeder, part of Coller’s $4bn evergreen platform. Coller Capital manages more than $50bn globally and is the world’s largest dedicated private market secondaries investor.
Coller Equity Feeder offers diversified exposure to institutional-quality private equity assets across managers, vintages, sectors, and geographies. The evergreen structure aims to combine absolute and risk-adjusted returns with enhanced liquidity characteristics compared with traditional closed-end private equity funds.
The partnership reflects Mediobanca Private Banking’s strategic focus on alternatives and its track record of introducing evergreen private market strategies to Italian professional investors. “Secondary strategies have evolved from a tactical allocation within private investors’ portfolios into a core strategic component, supported by the structural expansion and increasing sophistication of the market,” said Greta Teot, Executive Director and Head of Private Markets at Mediobanca Private Banking. “The evergreen structure further enhances these intrinsic advantages, enabling investors to access diversification, visibility and cash flow dynamics in a more efficient way.”
Boris Maeder, Managing Director and Head of International Private Wealth Distribution at Coller Capital, added: “Secondaries, particularly through evergreen structures, are well positioned to become a core portfolio allocation thanks to their compelling risk-return profile. Together with Mediobanca, we are proud to broaden access to institutional-quality secondaries solutions for qualified investors in Italy.”
