CVC named Jean-Pierre Saad as a Managing Partner to head its private equity investments in the European technology sector. Saad will join the firm in June 2025 and will be based in London.

Saad joins from KKR, where he spent over 15 years and most recently led the firm’s EMEA tech private equity strategy.
During his tenure, he played a key role in investments in Exact, SoftwareOne, Devoteam, and Koerber Supply Chain Software. Prior to KKR, he worked in Lehman Brothers’ telecoms and media team.

Soren Vestergaard-Poulsen, Managing Partner and Chair of the Private Equity Board at CVC, said Saad’s appointment will strengthen the firm’s capabilities in sourcing and executing high-quality investments in a critical growth sector.

Commenting on his new role, Saad said he looks forward to helping CVC expand its platform in European tech, a sector he sees as rich with opportunity.
