CVC taps Goldman Sachs on $1.08bn D-Marin disposal

The process remains in its early stages and may not result in a transaction.
D-Marin generates approximately €70m in annual EBITDA, implying a valuation multiple of roughly 15x at the targeted price.
CVC acquired the business in 2020 from Dogus Group through Fund VII. Since then, the company has expanded its footprint to around 26 marinas across Europe and the UAE, serving leisure vessels and super yachts across the Mediterranean and the Gulf.
In 2024 alone, D-Marin added seven marinas across the Mediterranean. The company also reported record guest numbers last summer.
A sale at €1bn would represent a significant realisation for Fund VII and underline private equity appetite for infrastructure-like leisure assets with recurring revenue profiles and geographic diversification.
