Bahrain-headquartered firm Investcorp said it has acquired Investis Digital from UK-based private equity firm ECI Partners and a group of minority investors. ECI said it has made a return of 2.6x on its investment in the company.
Established in 2000, Investis Digital is a leading provider of digital corporate communications and marketing services globally. It is headquartered in London with more than 500 employees across nine global offices in the US, UK, EU and India serving more than 1,600 global companies.
Investcorp is a global manager of alternative investment products, for private and institutional clients. Founded in 1982, the firm has offices in New York, London, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Doha, Mumbai and Singapore.
ECI is one of the very few European private equity investors to have raised eleven consecutive funds focused on a consistent strategy. ECI has raised over £1.6 billion of committed capital with the support of global institutional investors spanning North America, EMEA and Asia.
