Falfurrias Capital Partners has raised $850m for its fifth fund, exceeding the Charlotte, N.C.-based firm’s fundraising goal, according to regulatory filings and people familiar with the offering.
The firm launched the vehicle, Falfurrias Capital Partners V LP, with an initial fundraising goal of $800 million, WSJ Pro Private Equity reported this year. The $850m close is a 70% step up from Falfurrias’ previous fund, which closed at its $500m hard cap in 2019.
