J.F. Lehman & Company sells IGS to American Securities in strategic exit
Since acquiring IGS in 2020, JFLCO worked alongside management to expand its market presence, accelerate adoption of its solutions, and diversify its technology offerings. The firm also facilitated four strategic acquisitions to strengthen IGS’s capabilities.
“We are proud of the organic growth achieved through our partnership with IGS,” said Alex Harman, JFLCO Partner and Chairman of IGS. “The company has unlocked new growth opportunities and expanded its market reach. We wish them continued success under their new ownership.”
IGS CEO Rich Crawford highlighted JFLCO’s role in advancing the company’s strategy. “Their support helped us enhance our solutions and expand our global footprint. We’re excited to continue this momentum with American Securities,” he said.
With this sale, American Securities adds IGS to its portfolio, aligning with its strategy of investing in high-growth industrial and infrastructure-focused businesses.
Houlihan Lokey acted as lead financial advisor to IGS, with Stifel as co-advisor and Jones Day providing legal counsel. Harris Williams served as financial advisor to American Securities, with Kirkland & Ellis as legal counsel.
