KKR leads $700m raise for Saviynt, valuing identity security leader at $3bn

KKR has led a $700m Series B investment in Saviynt, valuing the identity security provider at about $3bn and marking one of the largest private equity-backed financings in the cybersecurity sector this year.

Sixth Street Growth, TenEleven, and Carrick Capital Partners also joined the round.

The deal underscores the rapid expansion of identity security as enterprises accelerate their adoption of AI agents, autonomous workflows, and cloud infrastructure. Saviynt’s platform secures and governs access for human, non-human, and AI identities across applications, data, and infrastructure. It consolidates identity governance, privileged access, application access governance, non-human identity management, and identity security posture capabilities within one system.

Founder and CEO Sachin Nayyar said: “This is a defining moment for Saviynt and the industry. The demand for secure, governed identity has never been greater, and this growth investment gives us the resources to meet it head-on.”

Saviynt’s momentum has accelerated as organisations confront the scale of AI-generated identities and the operational risk they introduce. The company now serves more than 600 global enterprises, including over 20% of the Fortune 100. It has also expanded its product portfolio and introduced AI-driven intelligence to boost efficiency in onboarding, certification, reviews, provisioning, and deprovisioning. Recent integrations include AWS, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, Wiz, and Cyera.

Ben Pederson, Managing Director at KKR, said: “Saviynt has built one of the most advanced and comprehensive identity security platforms in the market, purpose-built for the AI era. The Company is redefining how organizations secure their digital ecosystems, and we look forward to strategically partnering with Sachin and the Saviynt team to help further scale their platform globally.”

Proceeds from the round will accelerate research and development, expand AI-led capabilities, and deepen partnerships with hyperscalers, software providers, professional services firms, and resellers. KKR’s investment draws on its two decades of cybersecurity experience, which includes work with Darktrace, ReliaQuest, KnowBe4, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, and Semperis.

Saviynt continues to position identity as the foundation of enterprise AI adoption, a shift that is reshaping security architectures across global organisations.
