KSL Capital Partners, a private investment firm focused on travel and leisure businesses, has closed its latest travel and leisure focused private equity fund, KSL Capital Partners VI (KSL VI), with total capital commitments of $2bn.
KSL VI was supported by existing and new investors including state and corporate pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, insurance companies, asset managers and family offices, as well as GP commitments.
In late 2021, KSL Capital Partners set a multi-year goal to raise new vehicles across various investment strategies including private equity, credit and tactical opportunities. The firm has since raised over $10.5bn across said strategies.
Simpson Thacher & Bartlett served as counsel to KSL and the fund.
