Latour Capital acquires Nexans' Industry Solutions unit Lynxeeo in €525m deal
This divestment aligns with Nexans’ strategic roadmap to become a “pure electrification player,” allowing the group to streamline operations and allocate resources toward its core mission of advancing sustainable electrification solutions globally.
“The closing of the transaction marks a pivotal milestone in our electrification journey. It will streamline our operations and ensure efficient resource allocation,” said Christopher Guérin, CEO of Nexans. “Our long-term vision for sustainable growth and leadership in the electrification ecosystem starts now. Under Latour Capital’s expert guidance, Lynxeeo’s future will shine brightly.”
Nexans will continue to focus on accelerating the electrification of the world, in line with its purpose of “Electrifying the future.” The company, listed on Euronext Paris, reported €7.1bn in sales in 2024 and operates in 41 countries with approximately 28,500 employees.
Latour Capital is a France-based private equity firm with €4bn in assets under management. The firm invests in high-potential businesses both in France and internationally, with half of its partners being former operational executives.
This transaction further highlights the trend of private equity firms acquiring non-core industrial assets from large corporates as they refine strategic focus and unlock value.
