MidEuropa acquires majority stake in Romanian IT integrator RBC

Romanian Business Consult, known as RBC, provides mission-critical IT systems and integration services to blue-chip retail, banking, and industrial clients in Romania. The company was founded in 1991 and offers consulting, systems integration, custom software development, and long-term support.
Founder and chief executive Andrei Bojiță will retain a significant minority stake and continue to lead the business following the transaction. More than 80% of RBC’s clients have worked with the company for over 15 years, reflecting what MidEuropa described as long-standing customer relationships and deep sector expertise.
MidEuropa said the partnership would support RBC’s next phase of growth, drawing on the firm’s operational expertise, regional experience, and M&A capabilities to pursue selective expansion opportunities amid accelerating digitalisation and automation.
Bojiță said: “We are proud of what RBC has built over the years, supported by the trust of our long-term clients. Welcoming MidEuropa as our new shareholder is a strong endorsement of our business, our people, and our strategy.”
Aleksandar Dragicevic, principal at MidEuropa, said: “RBC is a high-quality platform with a clear vertical focus, deep sector expertise, and long-standing customer relationships. We look forward to partnering with Andrei and the management team to support the Company’s growth ambitions.”
The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in 2026.
