Miguel has over 20 years of deal making experience in Private Equity, with a particular focus in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. Prior to joining Altamar Miguel was a partner of Mercapital, a leading investor in the Spanish middle market where he was involved inthe fundraising and expansion of the firm in Latin America.
Before that Miguel was an Investment Manager in Mexcapital a pioneer in the Mexican Private Equity sector.

He has an MBA with honors from INSEAD, he is a graduate in Law and Business from ICADE. Miguel is president of Ascri.
