Rainer is the founder and Managing Partner of CONSTELLATION. He began his career with McKinsey & Co. in Switzerland, where he led various strategic and operational studies. He was founder and Head Corporate Development of Daimler’s Industries (AEG) with more than 300 companies.

Rainer holds a degree in Physics from ETH (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) in Zurich and emphasizes working with entrepreneurs. Focusing on Management Buyouts and Buy-&-Build Cases in asset light industries, his passion for entrepreneurial investing drives him to work closely with portfolio companies in order to build market leaders and two-generation owned institutions in fragmented markets.
