Nord Kapitalforvaltning AS was established in 2011 to provide investment advisory services for private equity funds. The company is the first and only private equity company focusing on buyout and capital growth strategy in Northern Norway. The company is headquartered in Tromsø and has five employees. The company currently manages one fund. Nord II has total committed capital of NOK 431 million and is currently being invested. Nord I was closed in the end of 2016.

The company was established based on the need for active ownership and risk capital in Northern Norway. We believe local presence and network provides an advantage in serving the market in the region. Nord Kapitalforvaltning aims to capitalize on a compelling and underserved deal flow in the region.

Argentum, being a cornerstone investor in Nord II, is an important supporter for the company. Argentum represents extensive LP-experience and knowledge of best practices in private equity.
