Abid is CEO of WiseEnergy, a full service asset manager, managing investments in renewable energy across the globe. Wise manages c€6bn in assets across 1700MwP and 1300 assets.
Previously, Abid was MD of NextEnergy Capital, where he was part of the listing team for NESF and led the business to grow assets from an initial IPO of value of €100m (£86.5m – 2014) to c€1.2bn in solar assets under management, covering the acquisition of 86 assets and over 670MwP. Abid stepped down from this role to take over WiseEnergy in 2018.
