Levente Zsembery is the CEO of X-Ventures, Hungary’s leading venture capital investor. He earned his PhD in financial risk management from the Budapest University of Economics. Since 1996, he has lectured at the University’s Institute of Finance. Before joining X-Ventures Levente was board director of UniCredit CAIB Hungary. He was involved in significant transactions including privatization of MALÉV Hungarian Airlines, sale of MÁV Cargo and BorsodChem subsidiaries, and the Gedeon Richter exchangeable bond program. Between 2015 and 2018 Levente served as Chairman of the Hungarian Venture Capital Association.
