PAI Partners to acquire majority stake in France’s €20bn wealth manager Cyrus
The transaction will see current minority shareholder Bridgepoint exit its investment, while Cyrus’ management will reinvest significantly alongside PAI. The deal is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026.
Cyrus manages more than €20bn in assets for over 30,000 private and institutional clients, supported by a network of 25 offices across France and abroad. Its integrated model combines wealth management (Cyrus Herez), asset management (Amplegest), and real estate (Eternam), with plans to launch a new private equity arm, Flandrin, pending regulatory approval.
With PAI’s backing, the group aims to accelerate organic growth, expand product distribution, and pursue consolidation opportunities across France and Europe’s fragmented wealth management sector.
Frédéric Stévenin, Co-Managing Partner at PAI Partners, said: “Cyrus has established itself as the leading independent wealth management brand in France. We are delighted to partner with the management team to drive sustainable growth and strengthen the platform through targeted acquisitions.”
Bridgepoint, which invested in Cyrus in 2020, will exit the company after helping grow assets under management from €4bn to over €20bn during its ownership.
The deal marks another strategic move for PAI Partners, which manages €28bn in assets and continues to focus on investments in business services and the broader “real economy.”
