Slovenian private equity manager PRVA Capital Partners announced the first close of its latest fund with over €60m in capital commitments, drawing support from both domestic and international investors.
Backed by the European Investment Fund (EIF), alongside Slovenia’s development and export bank SID and the InvestEU Fund, the fund will target majority investments in high-potential small and medium-sized enterprises across Slovenia and Croatia. Select investments may also extend to the wider Central and Eastern European region. Learn more about fundraising efforts in the CEE area by joining the CEE Private Equity Conference in Warsaw.
The vehicle will focus on opportunities in the manufacturing, consumer health, and digital sectors, where PRVA aims to provide strategic and operational support to help scale businesses and unlock long-term growth.
“Our strategy addresses the increasingly critical succession challenges that successful SMEs face as their founders retire,” the firm stated. “By offering strategic guidance, capital resources, and operational support, we aim to transform these enterprises into sustainable regional champions.”
The fund’s positioning comes at a time of growing investor interest in CEE private equity, where succession-driven transactions and founder transitions continue to drive deal flow. PRVA’s localised approach and institutional backing highlight the region’s evolving private capital landscape.
