Sensor Tower, a US analytics firm backed by private equity firm Riverwood Capital, acquired UK-based Video Game Insights Ltd in a strategic move to expand its reach in the global gaming sector.

Video Game Insights provides data and intelligence solutions for game developers, publishers, and investors, and works with industry leaders such as Ubisoft.
The acquisition is expected to support the company’s continued international growth under Sensor Tower’s ownership.

The deal was advised by gunnercooke’s corporate M&A team, with cross-border legal support provided by Silicon Law in the US. The transaction spanned three jurisdictions and highlights ongoing investor interest in data-driven platforms within interactive entertainment.

Backed by Riverwood Capital since 2020, Sensor Tower specialises in app intelligence and analytics, and continues to strengthen its position in the global digital economy through targeted acquisitions.
