1. Bain Capital Raises $11.8bn for New Flagship Fund
Bain Capital has raised $11.8bn from outside investors and employees for its latest flagship buyout fund. Bain amassed $10bn from outside investors for its Bain Capital Fund XIII, exceeding an initial $9bn target.
The firm’s present and former employees also committed $1.8bn in additional capital to the fund.
2. BlackRock Closes $615m Private Equity Opportunities ELTIF
BlackRock has closed the BlackRock Private Equity Opportunities ELTIF with commitments of around $615m. This is an investment strategy offering access to global PE direct co-investments with a focus on Europe.
The Fund exceeded its initial target and became one of the largest European Long-Term Investment Funds
3. KKR raises $18.5bn for flagship North America buyout fund
KKR has amassed about $18.5bn for its latest flagship PE fund, raising its biggest-ever fund in less than five months.
KKR raised about $17bn for KKR North America Fund XIII from investors including sovereign wealth funds, family offices and pension funds. An additional $1.5bn has been committed to the fund by KKR employees.
