Thoma Bravo partners with Google Cloud to scale AI across $8bn cybersecurity portfolio

Thoma Bravo has partnered with Google Cloud to accelerate artificial intelligence adoption across its enterprise software portfolio.

The partnership will provide Thoma Bravo’s portfolio companies with direct access to Google Cloud’s AI infrastructure, including its Gemini models and enterprise AI platforms, alongside engineering support and integrated go-to-market channels through Google’s marketplace and co-sell programmes.

By leveraging Google Cloud’s technology stack, Thoma Bravo aims to transition its software investments towards AI-first operating models across industries including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and real estate.

A central component of the partnership is cybersecurity. Thoma Bravo’s portfolio, which generates approximately $8bn in revenue and includes companies such as Proofpoint, SailPoint, Darktrace, Ping Identity, Sophos, Imprivata, and Exabeam, will work with Google Cloud to identify and mitigate emerging AI-driven threats.

“This partnership will allow our portfolio companies to rapidly implement leading AI technology from Google Cloud, which will enable our companies to build and deliver the most innovative AI solutions for their customers,” Orlando Bravo, Founder and Managing Partner at Thoma Bravo, said in a statement.
