TPG forms One Aged Care to capture ageing care demand in Singapore and Malaysia

The platform combines Econ Healthcare, Orange Valley Nursing Homes, and Ambulance Medical Service. It operates 16 nursing homes alongside ambulance and medical transport services.
The initiative reflects TPG’s strategy to scale healthcare services across Southeast Asia by integrating existing providers and improving operational standards.
Ong Hui Ming has been appointed chief executive officer of One Aged Care. She previously led Econ Healthcare.
“By aligning clinical standards, quality frameworks and shared capabilities at the group level, we can enhance continuity of care and scale best practices,” she said in a company statement.
Singapore’s rapidly ageing population is driving increased demand for elderly care services. Around 21% of residents are aged 65 and above, creating pressure on healthcare infrastructure.
TPG said the platform is designed to address these trends by expanding care capacity and improving service delivery across the region.
The move highlights continued private equity investment in healthcare infrastructure, particularly in markets with strong demographic tailwinds and rising demand for long-term care services.
