Christian Schmidt-Jacobsen joined Axcel in 2015 as co-managing partner as part of the succession plan and became managing partner in 2016. He joined Axcel from Icopal, where he served as Group CFO, following spells at Chr. Hansen, Danske Bank Corporate Finance and, from 1999 to 2005, Axcel.

Schmidt-Jacobsen holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
